We exist to showcase the local talent and provide opportunities to our local vendors for an online platform.
North Kootenay Wellness takes pride
in providing a one stop shopping space, that helps to share the wellness lifestyle that our Kootenay neighbours enjoy.
Our online market is based out of the small community of Johnson’s Landing.
A remote community in Area D in the West Kootenay’s. Surrounded by mountains on Kootenay lake, this area is rich in creative people living a healthy sustainable lifestyle.
We strive to highlight our artisans unique talents
That tell a bit of their story, and help our customers take some of that unique Kootenay Wellness lifestyle home.
North Kootenay Wellness has also established its own dried, bulk herbal product brand.
We are a local buyers hub for herbs locally and ethically harvested. We are a place people can come to find multiple, sustainable bulk herb products, for whatever DIY projects or general use they are wanting.

Trina Jezik
Founder of North Kootenay Wellness
Trina is the founder of North Kootenay Wellness, as well as the proud creator of Olina Botanicals and the artist behind Pakele Creations. Trina has been wildcrafting, preserving herbs and making products for over 2 decades. After spending 5 years in Hawaii, enjoying year round local
markets, Trina decided to take up the endeavour of creating a year round online market in the Kootenay’s. With a deep passion for all things herbs she has decided to include a home brand for bulk herbs, to be able to share the herbal experience with those who can’t grow or wildcraft their own. As Trina is also passionate about creating with those herbs and other delightful body oils, she is now selling her delux skin care products through Olina Botanicals. Trina is also a long time artist. Her acrylic painting style flourished while living in Hawaii, where she sold her art full time at the many local markets and galleries. Now back in the Kootenay’s you can find her vibrant art during different art showings and on many peoples walls throughout the Kootenay’s, and beyond.
Rhys Armstrong
Woodturner
Born and raised in the Kootenay’s, Rhys is naturally drawn to working with the various species of wood available. As a wood craftsman, Rhys has now drawn his attention to the lathe. His stunning wooden bowls highlight the beauty of the wood through the natural gains and colors. We look forward to offering these bowls to you as his collection grows!
Johnson’s Landing Pottery
Harvey Armstrong, Founder
Harvey Armstrong has been throwing pots in the Kootenay’s since the early 70’s. His pottery can be found in peoples home all through the Kootenay’s as well as local stores and markets. We know you’ll enjoy his deep earthly glazes and the superior quality of craftsmanship in your home.

Kate shares her love of the Kootenay’s through her watercolour paintings. A long time resident of the Kootenay’s, Kate embraces the natural beauty of
her surroundings in her paintings. Kate has been selling her works through local markets, stores and gallery walls for over a decade.
